Boundaries with a narcissistic parent
You did not choose this relationship and there is no version of yourself that existed before it. This episode is about building a workable arrangement with a parent who is not going to change: boundaries stated as what you will do, adjusting one wire at a time, surviving the escalation that follows, grieving the parent you needed, and protecting your own children without a confrontation.
